So, the Emmys might not be the biggest fashion moment of the awards season. But there are always a few exciting looks in the midst. Let’s take a look at the 6 Emmy red carpet looks we’re obsessing over this year:
Nicole Kidman in Calvin Klein
Oh, Nicole, you can do no wrong in 2017. First, you bring us the glorious Big Little Lies, and now this stunning Emmy look. Let’s be real, donning red on the red carpet is always a bold move. But Kidman totally pulls it off in this tea-length custom Calvin Klein dress. Her bright red gown had a stunning silver halter neckline and she paired it with a soft up-do and classic makeup. I can only describe this look as pure perfection from head to toe.
Nicole continued her bold choices by putting together a pink shoe with a red dress. And somehow, it all.just.works.
Jane Fonda in Brandon Maxwell
79 has never looked so good. Jane Fonda stuns in this hot pink custom Brandon Maxwell gown with a daring waterfall back. I’m not sure how I feel about the Ariana Grande-esque ponytail, but other than that I’m in awe of this look. Let’s just pray we can look half as good at that age.
Priyanka Chopra in Balmain
Priyanka Chopra definitely brought a touch of much-needed drama to the Emmys red carpet this year. In this heavily embroidered custom Balmain piece, Priyanka was seriously owning the red carpet. I’m loving the long feathered train of this gown.
Jessica Biel in Ralph and Russo Couture
In this iridescent gown by Ralph and Russo, Jessica Biel was a heavenly vision on the red carpet. The gorgeous gown shimmered and sparkled as she moved. I think this may be my favorite ever look on her.
Keri Russell in J. Mendel
J. Mendel, I bow down to you. You’ve created pure perfection in a gown with this chic feathered black number. And who better to carry it down the red carpet than the stunning and statuesque Kerry Russell? I’m in love.
Claire Foy in Oscar De La Renta
Claire Foy was nominated for her role in Netflix’s The Crown, probably one of my favorite shows this year. Claire pulled off a pantsuit in style in this off-the-shoulder Oscar De La Renta piece. On a red carpet full of gowns, you know a pantsuit is always a daring choice. But on Claire, it works.
